This lampshade is made using Eco board which is environmentally friendly and sustainable, it and the fabric has been treated with flame retardant making it completely safe for use. 

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
Eco-Board is an environmentally friendly material, made from 100% elemental chlorine free wood pulps which are at least 30% recycled and totally recyclable, and sourced from carefully managed and renewed forests.  
I use fire retardant on both board and fabric for safety and protection.

Our lampshades are sustainable, vegan friendly and cruelty-free, and we donate 10% of the profit from each sale to animal rescue charities.
